Who Rules ?
It has been said: "Those who make the rules; Rule."

Generally the rule of law is felt to have some basis in morality or some form of "propriety" or "appropriateness" A great but unfortunately now deceased radio talk show personality from the South Florida area, Allen Burke, once explained that such was not the case. Simply put he explained: The "Law" depend on what the guys (used to be strictly guys) and now gals "in power" (legislators) feel like making "the law" If they think cigarettes and alcohol are OK but marijuana and say--- nude sunbathing, are NOT OK then Guess what's going to be the law. Those legislators are usually elected by a majority of the voters so it can be reasoned that they are acting on behalf of most of the people. That's not so bad. It gets bad when you throw money into the mix. When you consider that you MUST be able to AFFORD to get elected. At that point is when you realize the corrupting power of money. Laws are not being written on the basis of morality or correctness, they're being written on the basis of who gives more money to the lawmakers. You can call them political contributions til the cows come home, but that won't change it from being legalized bribery.
The Radically Rich Rule. At least for now.
